Frequently Asked Questions

Who can attend Paryushan Mahaparva?
Everyone is welcome — seekers of every age and background, whether you have observed Paryushan for decades or are arriving for the first time. No prior study of Jain philosophy is assumed, and each session is introduced so newcomers can follow from the beginning.
Do I need to attend all eight days?
The eight days build on one another, so attending in full gives the deepest experience. That said, seekers are welcome for whichever days they can manage, and every session stands on its own.
Is there a fee to participate?
There is no fee. Registration simply helps us plan seating, prasad, and materials for everyone attending.
Can I join online if I cannot travel?
Yes. Pravachans and major sessions are streamed live for seekers worldwide. Register and the daily links reach you by email and WhatsApp.
What is Samvatsari Pratikraman and should I attend?
Samvatsari Pratikraman is the most significant ritual of the year — a collective reflection on the past twelve months and a sincere asking of forgiveness. It is offered in Gujarati, Hindi, and English, and first-time participants are guided throughout.
Are children welcome?
Very much so. Sessions designed for younger participants run alongside the main programme, led by the Look n Learn educators.
